5 Sports TV Channels You Didn't Know Existed
We all know televised sporting events are huge. Even the most sports "deaf" amongst us can name several of the biggest TV channels devoted to sports like ESPN, FOX Sports, and even Speed. And even the novices know there are multiple ESPN channels and even channels devoted specifically to one sport like The Golf Channel. But there are sports channels available that virtually no one that isn't a die-hard fan of the sport has ever heard of. There are even entire packages devoted to some sports, and the average viewer doesn't even know they exist. For instance, one of the least publicized groups of channels is those devoted to horse racing. Channels operated by RTN (or the Race Track Network) televise horse races from around the country on almost a daily basis. If there's a horse race big enough to be seen on TV, RTN will have it on one of the 80 channels they operate. Horse racing is called the "sport of kings" and you can enjoy it all with the click of a button. Another group of channels for those who enjoy sports TV is Willow Cricket. Who would've thought that cricket would be a big sport in the US? Believe it or not, Willow Cricket shows events from Australia, South Africa, England and even New Zealand 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Even the ICC Champions League matches are televised live, as they happen. No longer do you have to live without the great sport of cricket with Willow Cricket. Now, college football fans are some of the most rabid fans in the business. The

How New Technology is Affecting Your Sports Shoes
Since man started running, biking, hiking, or propelling himself by foot, few things have been as important to the human animal as their shoes. From the sandals of the Roman gladiators, to the most technically advanced shoes and boots available today, shoes have long been the foundation to human movement. However, with few notable exceptions, the basic way shoes are designed to be worn hasn't changed in thousands of years. Put your foot in the shoe, and if it isn't held in place by the design of the shoe, it has to be tightened by belts, buckles, Velcro, or laces, all too often, creating either insecure footing or painful pressure points. Not at all desirable for any shoes - but especially for athletic shoes. Levels of competition have gotten harder and the talent more equal. This means finding additional ways to improve performance have become paramount. For bicyclists, this means finding ways to be more aerodynamic. For ball players, it means finding ways to become stronger, yet be lighter. For running and other endurance sports, it has meant finding ways to be faster, yet maintain that level of endurance so you can be there at the end. Between all these sports, every method of diet, hardware and gear changes, and whatever else has been tried. And part of that formula includes shoes. Football, baseball, tennis and soccer, as well as any other sport played on grass and dirt, means having running or athletic shoes that work with the playing field. Giving you the ability to

Mark Webber Wins The Hungarian Grand Prix
This year's Hungarian Grand Prix took place at the Hungaroring in a valley outside of Budapest, Hungary. The circuit features natural viewing points because of its valley setting. The stands are set to take advantage of these vantage points. The Hungaroring features fourteen turns, and the course is a tight one. The circuit length is 4.381 km. The race is 70 laps and the race distance is 306.630 km. Qualifying on the Saturday was really a battle between the Red Bull's and Ferrari's, who had the pace this past weekend. When qualifying was over, Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel held pole position, with teammate Mark Webber securing second spot. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa were third and fourth respectively. It remained as to who would maintain the pace for the Sunday race. The lofty heights of first place didn't last overly long for Vettel once the Hungarian Grand Prix hit its stride. Through the first 15 laps, he did build up a lead over the top contenders. Fernando Alonso grabbed second spot at the race start by passing Mark Webber who fell into third position. Felipe Massa of Ferrari was in fourth spot, fighting to hold off Vitaly Petrov of Renault. McLaren's Lewis Hamilton was in sixth spot, dropping back a position from his fifth place grid start. Vettel's day took a turn for the worse when a safety car underwent deployment on lap 15. Debris on the circuit prompted the safety car to come out, and this changed the dynamic of the entire race. Recognizing an
