Most likely, you will not have to add or change any computer
equipment other than the DSL Modem unless you have an older PC that does not have
an a 10Base-T Ethernet network interface card (10BaseTNIC). Newer computers often
include this card. In the event that you do have an older computer, a card generally
can be purchased to install into your computer to enable the Ethernet capability
not have a NIC in your computer, you can purchase one at virtually any computer
store.
Please Note: We will not install any network cards (Ethernet)
during the installation process, you must have 10Base-T (Ethernet) network cards
installed and working prior to self-installation or technician arrival.
